August 23, 2024: Emily and Madison meet at Hopscotch Coffee to discuss Emily’s archive of photographs.

August 30, 2024: Emily and Madison meet with Madison’s colleague Dr. Sean Purcell over zoom to discuss the photographs.

September 6, 2024: Emily and Madison attend Dr. Wendy Kline’s lecture “Exposed: The Hidden History of the Pelvic Exam” at the Kinsey Institute.

September 9, 2024: Emily and Madison meet at the McCalla School to discuss the photographs over lunch.

September 10, 2024: Emily sends Madison a Google Drive folder of readings related to the topic.

September 23, 2024: Emily and Madison meet at the McCalla School to discuss the photographs.

September 30, 2024: Madison meets with her Digital Humanities advisor, Dr. John Walsh, to discuss technical aspects of the project.

October 7, 2024: Emily and Madison meet at the McCalla School to discuss the photographs.

October 17, 2024: Madison meets with her Digital Humanities professor Dr. Christina Hendricks in her office at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.

October 24, 2024: Emily and Madison meet at the McCalla School to discuss the photographs.

October 28, 2024: Madison meets with her Digital Humanities advisor, Dr. John Walsh, to discuss technical aspects of the project.

October 28, 2024: Madison meets Emily at the McCalla School to pick up the forgotten binder of photographs.

November 17, 2024: Madison sends Emily the documentary “Reclaiming: oral histories of sexual & reproductive wellness traditions in Appalachian Ohio” after going to a screening and Q&A session led by the filmmaker, Talcon Quinn, at the American Folklore Society Annual Meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

November 22, 2024: Emily and Madison meet with Emily’s colleague Dr. Faye Gleisser, an Art History faculty who specializes in photographs, in her office in the Radio-TV Building. Faye reccomended literature to add to the bibliography and suggested that the project be named “The Pregnant Image”.

December 2, 2024: Madison meets with her Digital Humanities advisor, Dr. John Walsh, to discuss technical aspects of the project.
